4.2m high x 6m long curved panels remained on the climbing platforms when lifted to the next level, allowing for limiting crane time requirements when handling the 580 lineal metres of formwork.
The full height was achieved in 9 pours with a nominal pour height of 4.2m.
Vario wall formwork mounted on CB Climbing Platforms constituted the bulk of the material supplied to this project – approximately 240 tonnes, including almost 12 km of GT24’s and 1.7km of SRZ walers.
The pour sequence was divided into 4 equal sized quadrants, with a stressing buttress in each quadrant. Two opposite quadrants were jumped together with the leading pair at least two jumps ahead at all times.
