With Punggol area rapidly developing, new roads and buildings are being built now and in the coming years throughout the new town. Plans to transform a part of Punggol into a digital district has been materialized and construction is underway.
Just right behind Punggol SAFRA, a Y-shaped pier bridge is being constructed over Punggol waterway - below the LRT tracks between Sam Kee Station and Punggol Point Station. The bridge aims to support new roads being built from Sentul Crescent to Punggol Seventeenth Avenue.
The project commenced in Q3 2019 and is completed in Q4 2021.
