For refurbishment work on exposed roof trusses, a movable PERI UP suspended scaffold spans the roof structure of the parliament building in Berlin.
The scaffolding solution designed on the basis of the LGS lattice girder system takes the impeded accessibility and the permissible roof loads into account.
After the final assembly on the ground, the 24-m long and 2.50-m wide PERI UP scaffolding units can be lifted onto the roof with a mobile crane and then manually moved to the inside.
The suspended scaffold units are moved along the edges of the buildings on trolleys without a crane. After closing of the intermediate fields in longitudinal and transverse direction – including the lower deck level – the concrete truss is completely enclosed.
The Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus is part of the impressive ensemble of buildings in the Berlin government district along the bank of the river Spree.

Great benefit with systematic approach
The scaffolding solution designed on the basis of the LGS lattice girder system takes the impeded accessibility and the permissible roof loads into account.
Elaborate assembly sequence
After the final assembly on the ground, the 24-m long and 2.50-m wide PERI UP scaffolding units can be lifted onto the roof with a mobile crane and then manually moved to the inside.
